Dominic Raab won’t be standing to become the next Prime Minister

Bad news. Dominic Raab, the Deputy Prime Minister, has allegedly stated he won’t be standing to become the next PM. We were hopeful that as a front-runner for the position, and the only avowedly non-feminist contender – he once called feminists “obnoxious bigots”, insightfully – the next PM will be another feminist. Business as usual.

Maybe there’s a possibiity he’ll reconsider. I’ve just sent the following message to dominic.raab.mp@parliament .uk and ask you to likewise urge him to reconsider.

Good afternoon. I lead the Children & Family Party http://cafp.uk. I was deeply disappointed by reports that Dominic Raab has said he won’t be in contention to be elected the next party leader and therefore PM. He’s the most competent potential contender BY A COUNTRY MILE. Hopefully he’ll reconsider. Best wishes.
